Promise Robotics brings together deep tech, advanced manufacturing, and construction under one roof to create complete enterprise industrial robotic production systems for digital manufacturing and assembly of highly efficient and sustainable buildings.

We’re looking for a highly motivated Business Development Executive to join our management team and lead the business development and growth of the most advanced AI-enabled industrial robotic systems in offsite construction.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a senior leader in collaboration with a cross-functional team to advance business model and product development strategies in industrial robotics automation for offsite construction
  • Build impactful business relationships with potential customers, partners, and collaborators
  • Identify, qualify, and secure business opportunities
  • Lead strategy and business development activities to champion customer journey and success in adopting robotics production systems
  • Deliver vision and information to potential clients at meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences
  • Provide leadership, assessment, and evaluation of new project opportunities by developing financial plans, pro-formas and project opportunities
  • Lead deal negotiations, contract development, and due diligence
  • Champion company’s core values and shape our culture and values

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • At least 10 years of solid experience in leading business development within a high growth environment
  • Solid track record in creating sales pipelines related to offsite construction and housing
  • Thorough understanding of emerging and existing technology practices and business models in offsite construction
  • Thorough understanding of the housing market and construction
  • Understanding of regulatory environment and funding mechanisms for innovation in housing
  • Experience in construction systems and techniques, particularly as it relates to panelized and offsite construction of timber-based assemblies
